In 2020, she created an official TikTok profile and in just a few months, she became an instant hit. She is credited with creating TikTok's most liked video that lip-syncs to British rapper Millie B's popular song Soph Aspin Send. Kenneth Taylor, an American ex-pat and his wife Eden adopted her. Poarch explained that for the next 10 years she would spend a majority of her days working at the farm of her family and doing chores. Bryner, her younger brother Bryner and two older siblings are also adopted. The family relocated to the United States in Texas when she was 13 witht the exception of older sisters who were within the Phillipines. Later, Poarch served as an United States Navy officer and spent several months in Japan. Bella said that her father was abusive toward her and her brother as well as herself. She also said she had few acquaintances at school. Poarch has been active on TikTok from April, 2020. Many of her lip sync videos earned her fame particularly the one she posted where she lipsyncing Soph Aspin by Millie B. This video is now TikTok's top-rated video. Following her TikTok successes, she started a YouTube channel and Twitter account in the weeks after she joined TikTok. Poarch is also well-known for her alpaca-stuffed toy Paca. Her limited edition clothing range RIPNDIP x Paca at the beginning of 2020.
